Ingredients
- 6 Eggs
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 pint Heavy Cream
- 1 pint Milk
- ⅛ tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- Dark Rum, to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Beat separately yolks and whites of 6 eggs.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar to yolks while beating.
- Add 1/4 cup sugar to Whites after they have been beaten very stiff.
- Mix egg whites with yolks.
- Stir in 1 Pint heavy cream and 1 pint milk. (for extra fluffy nog I whip the heavy cream...your choice).
- Stir thoroughly. (If you know what you're doing, "fold" not stir)
- Serve very cold with a sprinkle of nutmeg and choice of booze to taste (cinnamon liqueur, brandy, whiskey, nothing too expensive)
